it doesn't have to hang from ceiling:) i have 2 of those from ikea, one hangs from heating pipe and other.. i have a "cupboard" for my electricity counter that is very high and has empty space under it, so i have screwed a litle hook in the door of that cupboard and now it hangs from there now:)) and at my bf's place we have bought a big hook for luster, and screwed it horizontally into wall, so top of the basket was far enough from wall. we have payed that hook about €0.50, and bought a basket in ikea for €1.00 (it is smaller than that one from your link:)
