I don't think this one has been mentioned: has anyone seen the Pedro Almodovar film Volver? There are some amazing sweaters in that film. I feel like I have to go see it again because it was too hard to read subtitles and scope out sweater patterns at the same time! If I can find pics I'll post links.

Okay, so here's one of Penelope Cruz's lace-patterned green sweater--gorgeous!:

And here's a really cute red lace pattern (warning: she's holding a bloody knife in this pic): http://outnow.ch/Movies/2006/Volver/img/movie.fs/10?w=1400&h=928

well, i haven't mentioned the name of the movie, but i've posted links to photos of these cardigans, and i would love to see a better photo of this cardi. pattern on that red cardi reminds of this
25  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / blue-green journal on: December 28, 2006 07:41:36 PM
hi:) i'm newbie in bookbinding, i started learning it since my swap partner wants one, so here is my practice journal:

it is made for one very special person, and i know he will like it even if it's not so pefect. i'm quite proud, but i used some weird paper for cover (i got so addicted that i went to bookshop 5 minutes before closing just to get supplies:)), and glue ate color in few places, so i have put tag with lyrics over that white stain. Pages are not perfectly lined up, i need bit of practice. lyrics on cover say "dreams are worth most when they grew old together with you", something like that:) there are some kitty stickers and punched angels inside, but it's so simple that i would feel bad about putting tons of photos here:)

things i forgot to do:
put a bookmark, i had it ready and just forgot to stick it somewhere:(
bind one envelope together with pages, for keeping small papers and so, i always glue one to the end of my notebooks

28  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: PSA: Do not knit Rogue while angry. on: December 20, 2006 04:00:26 AM
Smiley) my mother hates that i knit, she thinks it distracts me from studying (i wish that was the reason!), so i have to hide in bathroom when i really need to knit:)) besides, i visit her mostly on sundays, and ste thinks that knitting on sunday is sin:(
29  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: What's the best thing you've ever knit for yourself? on: December 17, 2006 02:45:25 AM
my socks:) i only made one pair till now, i've made it from some silly wool blend that bleeds and has to be hand-washed, they have a small hole in gusset, but i love them, because my feet are always cold!
