Oops, here's the pic of the flip flop pompoms, made with fuzzy yarn and fibers.  I made these in about 6 colors, and wore them constantly until it got too cold here in Tulsa.

Yes, I strung the pompoms together by tying them in the center onto a 36 inch length of yarn.  Then I made 2 tassels and tied them to the ends.  I have to wear it over my clothes though, since I made it from 100% wool yarn.  It itches me.  I am going to make some more, with soft yarns.  I'm thinking of doing the next one with 2 rows of smaller pompoms, side by side, in Spring colors.
I used pompoms on flipflops, too:

Thank you!

I totally LOVE PeeWee!!!!

My boyfriend has the PeeWee's Big Adventure movie memorized!  Someone should come up with line of craft products with PeeWee style stuff, kinda cartoony, oversized fun things....

45  Re: Valentine Candy-Gram for your Big Hunk in Valentine's Day by pattiewack on: February 11, 2006 03:02:11 PM
You know, the guys could use the same poem for their gals on their candy gram.  I would love for my BIG HUNK to show up wearing only the candy-gram sign.   Roll Eyes
Just substitute the BIG HUNK for a SWEETTARTs.

Cute.
I also made a candy bouquet and just printed out the poem on paper and glued it to a red paper heart, glued it onto a skewer and poked it into the back of the bouquet.

Candy-Gram Poem:

Life is a (Symphony) on Valentines Day!
And to my (Big Hunk or SweetTart) I just wanna say.
Please dont (Snicker) at my silly rhyme,
And well celebrate with a (Whopper) of a time!
I wouldnt trade you for(100 Grand)
Because youre (Good & Plenty) and my best friend.
You probably think this gift is funny,
But Ill always be your(Bit O Honey)
So, lets have (Mounds) of fun today,
And have a Happy Valentines Day!

I used a tool that I invented with my boyfriend, called the PomPom Tool.  It's plastic, and you can see it at my website:  www.pattiewack.com

Just click on the cheerleader where it says, Got pompoms?
