Here is my WWVD? shirt because I love her desperately.

2  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Simply Marilyn on: June 21, 2007 08:29:04 PM
Here she is! I used a bulky alpaca and cast on way less stitches than the pattern called for to make it less bulky. Please ignore weird bunching of camisole underneath!

A fast, lovely knit and I learned to cable without a needle! Oh, and I added quite a bit of length to the body as well...
3  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Cashmerino Super Chunky review? on: May 30, 2007 09:47:41 AM
Am considering buying this for Simply Marilyn but have read a couple of not-so-glowing reviews (ie that it pills terribly and looks dirty) and a couple of great ones. Not so sure what to do! Alternately, anyone know of good subs? thank you!
4  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / looking for a fitted fair-isle cardigan pattern on: April 17, 2007 04:36:11 PM
Anyone seen one anywhere?
5  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Twinkle's Big City sweater dress on: April 13, 2007 03:53:38 PM
cross-posted from the Twinkle knitalong...

I finished my Groovy Sweater Dress last night. I used 4 strands of Lion's Pride Worsted on the recommended needles and eliminated the pattern on the top. It tends to ride up a bit and get a little Empire-waisty but it's very comfy and VERY warm.

6  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / My finished Venezia on: March 13, 2007 05:32:03 PM
Here she is!

I couldn't bear the thought of using 10 different colours, so I stripped it down to just two. It was my first stranded project, and first steeking experience. I love it an awful lot...

My dog looks quite shocked by the whole thing.
7  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Horray for finishing Christmas knitting! on: December 27, 2006 08:39:49 AM
No more knitting with a deadline! No more worrying if it will fit/they will like it! Getting to knit for myself!
8  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / sweater pattern for 2 yo girl??? on: December 13, 2006 09:52:42 AM

Or doea anyone know anything similar for a 2 1/2 year old???

9  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Best online seaming tute? on: November 10, 2006 07:25:24 AM
I am getting ready to put all my pieces together and just realized that I'd stupidly loaned out my SnB. Any hot tips???
10  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Most impressive to non-knitters? on: October 10, 2006 08:51:57 AM
What projects have you done that have made non-knitters ooh and ahh the most? I'm trying to figure out my Christmas knitting and am trying to come up with gifts with low-input and high-impact. Thanks!
