2  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Weddings and Bridal Showers / Re: Victorian wedding craft ideas, anyone??? on: September 09, 2008 04:16:47 PM
woohoo for other goth wedding folks!!!

I'm getting married in march 2010 (have to graduate first) and i'm in new Zealand too!
I'm making a dress thats ivory with black lace, a corset and a slim skirt that flares out under the knees with lace panels and has a back bustle.

I'm aslo going to make a mini tricorn hat with a netting vil across my face.

I'm hoping to get my man to wear either a mourning coat or a frock coat, which shouldn't be too hard as he's all for being dramatic Smiley

we're getting married at carringtons restored pumphouse, with big black old school victorian goth candle chandaleirs hagning from the roof and a banquet style dinner at long tables with ivy and candles on them.

How did you get them cut so nicely, the layers on mine squish together and go crooked when i cut them, yours are so well defined!
9  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: Another Charm Swap? on: June 22, 2008 02:09:46 PM
I found this doing a search to see if there had been a charm swap....of course there had silly me!

maybe we could craft 5 or 6 charms for two different people, so you'd be making 12 charms but only sending out twice, and everyone would still recieve a variety?

I have a question, do they have to be beaded / traditional "jewellery" charms or can they be polymer clay or different styles as well?
10  CLOTHING / Costumes: Completed Projects / Re: Nymph Feather Wings from recycled materials - (with tute + pics) on: June 07, 2008 03:54:50 AM
