Is it wrond to have a costume party for a three  year old who's birthday is on the 17th? This may be the only time I can get away with it without complaints about her always having a birthday that has a halloween theme. Any ideas to get away from the halloween theme?

I thrifted on old pair of mens golf pants. I had an idea to make them into bermuda shorts. The waist is really high on them and I would like to cut it down to below my belly button. Does anyone have an idea on how successfully move a waist down?

This is literally a sweatshirt my Gramma gave me a long time ago and I never threw it out because it is a Women in the Military shirt and that's sometime we have in common. Anyhow... This is my first time reconstrcting anything so I need suggestions. Should I cut that other sleeve shorter or does it look good the way it is? I don't have a before shot, I don't think that far ahead. Smiley

Hello everyone. This is only my second post because I am a total lurker. So I have this question about a project I want to do in my kitchen.

I have these mini calendars for desks. I want to use the pictures on them to decorate my kitchen walls. I thought maybe to use mod podge but I don't know how it will look in a small area. WIll it be noticeable? Also I thought maybe I could use starch to make them stick but I'm not sure if that only works with cloth or not. Just curious to see what all you talented d'ecoratuers think about it.
