1  Halloween / Halloween Decor and Parties / Trick or treat bags on: October 29, 2007 03:14:37 PM
Hi - I made these trick or treat bags for my niece and her little friend. They are almost 2 years old so they are tiny bags!

2  KNITTING / Projects from the Stitch 'N B**ch Books by Debbie Stoller / Two Bunny Hats on: October 12, 2007 02:49:02 PM
Hi! I knitted these for my boss's twin boys who just turned one. I used Vanna's Choice yarn because it was cheap and indestructable. It actually knitted up quite nicely!

3  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Mt Whitney pictoral quilt on: October 04, 2007 03:50:08 PM
Hi! I made this small pictorial quilt for a 75 year old friend of my mom and me who hiked Mt Whitney to celebrate her birthday! She had her picture in the New York Times so I did a photo transfer and stitched it on the quilt. So this is my interpretation of Mt.Whitney.

4  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Lotta Jansdotter All Day Tote - from denim skirt on: September 13, 2007 09:41:57 AM
Hi - I made this tote bag from a long denim skirt and the leg of a pair of jeans (plus some other fabric and ribbon). I made it to replace my sister's diaper bag so the denim is perfect!

5  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / denim skirt + denim jeans = tote bag! on: September 13, 2007 09:39:00 AM
Hi - This was clothing and has been turned into a tote bag so I hope this is the right forum. I used a long denim skirt and the leg of an old pair of jeans to make this All Day Tote (pattern by Lotta Jansdotter).

6  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Lotta Jansdotter Sun Hat on: September 12, 2007 10:26:27 AM
Hi - I made the Lotta Jansdotter Sun Hat. Thanks to all the tips I got from fellow Craftsters, I shortened the crown and brim and it fits pretty well!

7  KNITTING / Projects from the Stitch 'N B**ch Books by Debbie Stoller / newsboy hat! on: August 29, 2007 02:02:56 PM
Check out my hat! I LOVE IT!! I was so inspired by seeing everyones hats here I decided to try it myself. I made it out of Patons SWS which is this really soft wool and soy blend. I'm going to make another one out of some army green yarn I ordered on sale from Joann's and I'm going to increase the ribbing at the bottom and leave out the cables for a different look. I put stiff interfacing in the brim, you're supposed to use plastic mesh but I happened to have some really stiff interfacing so I improvised. Anyway it was really fun to knit and I love to wear it! Can't wait for it to get cold!
