so i've had a crappy couple of months, mostly due to deaths in my family. so i got the idea for a swap where you'd craft things for your partner to help them cope with a loss. or you could craft things in memory of their loved one, like picture frames, poems, etc. i know i'd love to have little thigns around the house dedicated to my grandpa  also, i think in the questionaire we'd have to be very open to talking about the loved one...in the sense of being able to answer questions like what did they mean to you, your favorite memory?, or what were ur loved ones favorite things to do?, etc.

i know im not the only one out there going through a tough time with loss, so i thought maybe this would be a good way for some of us craftsters to connect!

would anyone be interested in doing a recipe book swap? we could have an amount of recipes, say 20 or so and what u'd be crafting is decorating the book and putting in the recipes and all that jazz. we could pair up based on food choices (vegan, etc.)  we would also make sure to avoid food allergys and everything. thought it might be fun! 

so i had a dream about hedgehog cupcakes the other night (seriously) and of course that was all i could think about the next day. so i made them!!

is there somewhere that i can still buy the decemberists kit?

where can i buy silver colored metallic tape for the glass slide pendants? i know most people use solder, but i thought i saw a post around here where they used a type of tape.....

inspired by this (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=67859.0) i used the sleeves of a thrifted sweater, used a staple gun to attach the sleeves to old ballet flats. i used black ribbon to cover the staples (tho u cant really see it in the pic) and give it a little more finality. 

anyone interested?

does anyone know of any sites that have beads and charms and such simialr to the ones on sacredkitschstudio. com? i loved them but she closed down b/c of a personal issue i believe. help?
