Aspenglow:  Hurray to you for being the first one to post their own cake!  I love how you did the strawberry on top.  Very cute!

Thank you! For the idea/tutorial and about the strawberry. I have to say, I love that berry! Smiley

I love cake, and this idea was too cute to pass up! Thank you so much for the inspiration and the tutorial Smiley

Not the best photo, but you get the idea. I tried making a little cream puff, but it turned out kinda eh, so I went for just a strawberry Smiley I put some cardstock in the bottom, but left the top squishy for a pincushion. I have a thing for pincushions.

(added a better photo, well, kind of better...)

Mmmmm peeps!

I don't know if I could pull off wearing a peep, but I'm definitely thinking about it now! It looks so cute and peepy Smiley

Also, to add to the peep links have you seen this? http://lordofthepeeps.com/

My aunt made my sisters and I each a little pouch just like those... let's see... probably 16 years ago (!) and I had forgotten all about them! We kept marbles and things in them... thank you for the tutorial, I may have to make some for us again! Smiley

Wow, this brought back memories! My aunt (quite the crafty lady) made an origami mobile years and years ago (probably near 20 yrs, wow)... I had forgotten all about it until now. I remember I loved looking at all the different little shapes and animals. It was beautiful.

Thank you for sharing yours! Smiley

Ooh that is a good idea... some friends of mine love to play cards, and that would be a great gift - a box to store decks of cards.... I know I've got decks missing cards around here somewhere. Thanks for sharing! Smiley
