1  granny square blanket progress pic! in Crochet: Discussion and Questions by aspenglow on: February 22, 2006 12:02:36 AM

(You can see the large version here: http://static.flickr.com/40/102900298_162b500a16_b.jpg)

I have been working on this blanket for a loooong time. In between other projects, in long and short spurts, etc. It is almost done, now! Just one more square, then I need to finish weaving in a *bunch* of loose ends, sew them together, and then put on a border or two. Phew!

Because I am crazy, I did a border of black single crochet around each square, it just made me feel better to do that, haha. That is one of the reasons it is taking me so long! (I think I started early Summer, 2005)

Just wanted to share! Smiley I posted it in here, since it's not technically finished...

2  Re: Dayflower Lace Scarf (with link to free pattern) in Knitting: Completed Projects by aspenglow on: September 04, 2005 09:52:49 AM
I finished this scarf a few days ago! Once I got the hang of the pattern, it knit up really fast, I love this pattern!

I have never had luck with lace before, so I did this in really cheap acrylic, in a nice burnt orange color (although it looks more like bright!orange in this photo). I really like how it turned out Smiley

3  Re: Felt Cakes! Now With Tutorial!!! in Completed Projects by aspenglow on: April 01, 2005 06:53:58 PM
I love cake, and this idea was too cute to pass up! Thank you so much for the inspiration and the tutorial Smiley

Not the best photo, but you get the idea. I tried making a little cream puff, but it turned out kinda eh, so I went for just a strawberry Smiley I put some cardstock in the bottom, but left the top squishy for a pincushion. I have a thing for pincushions.

(added a better photo, well, kind of better...)
