3  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Candy Sundae - totally sweet!!! IMAGE & CALORIE HEAVY!! on: June 18, 2008 11:03:56 PM
Ok, I was looking to make something great for my son's girlfriend's graduation..something different, so I found out what kind of candy she liked, and this is what I came up with.  It is about 19" tall, and filled to the brim with candy.  This is my Sweet Sundae!! Of course I gave her a nice card with some well deserved cash too.  Compliments and criticisms welcome!!

4  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / A Robot Bathingsuit! on: May 15, 2008 08:11:27 PM
Hi everyone!  My daughter has taken over my sewing machines!!! No kidding, she came home from college with one thing on her mind...making clothes.  She made a dress that she posted here a week or so ago, made a cute top that I don't think she has posted yet, but I'm posting her bathing suit for her...she did an awesome job!  She figured out how to use my elasticator on my serger... my coverstitch machine, and she came up with this.....Her robot bikini. Oh yea, she figured out how to set up and use my MB4 embroidery machine too!!  I'm so proud of her! She's too chicken to model it in person, but she pretty much looks like the maniquin anyway..

10  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / My Photo Purse - A tribute to my Mom & Dad on: November 01, 2006 09:22:50 PM
Hi everyone. I scanned this picture of my mom & dad a while ago and printed it onto fabric. It has been begging me do make something out of it so tonight I made this bag. I miss them terribly and will be proud to carry them with me!  I'll call this my memory bag. I'm thinking of putting some very tiny swarovski crystals on the Christmas tree behind them. What do you think?
