1  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects / My first batch of soap on: September 24, 2009 08:57:27 AM
So I recently got a soap kit in a swap..I was scared of the lye so I have been putting off making it..I ended up doing hot process because there is no way I am patient enough to wait 4 weeks... no no no... I did end up licking it.. and it wasn't done.. that was intresting...anyway here are a couple pictures.
This first one is from the mold in my kit

The second one you can see some look wonky cause I still had soap left in the pot. So I used a metal throwaway baking pan, turns our I didn't need to throw it away but it left ridges and stuff on the soap. the ball is because I cut the top and stuff off the mold soap because the plastic bag I used bled it's ink on my soap!
2  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / gommba! on: June 25, 2007 05:15:09 PM

3  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Dark Mark Cuff (Image Heavey ) on: May 21, 2007 05:09:07 PM
I am going to prophecy in Toronto in August. I wanted to make something to commemorate the event. I really really really like seed beads. So I found this knitting pattern for the dark mark bag and lucky for me converting a knitting pattern to beads is as easy for me as uhhh reading a pattern..lol...So away I went..

First credit where it is due... the pattern is not mine it is from here...http://www.freewebs.com/theloveplant/knitting/darkmarkbag.html...

I made it all doing the square stitch. I could have done it much faster doing it on the loom and all but I would take it with me everywhere and people tend to look at you funny when you pull out a loom in a dr.s office! I have no idea how many beads it took over 2000 I know. After I got the beaded part done I ran in to that amazing lime green leather and it matched so perfect I had to use it. So I sewed the beads on to it added the snaps and here it is!!!!
4  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / chrismas crafts for the devolopmentaly disabled on: October 07, 2006 04:41:38 PM
I work for a company that takes care of devolpmentaly disabled people. We need a craft for our company christmas party. I have been informed that glue is a bad thing and they need to be cheap. We need to make like 100 of them with the consumers. SO if anyone has any ideas they would be greatly appreciated

Thanks in advance
