if you don't mind sewing, maybe take them apart, sew them back together inside out, then do what you want?

That is brilliant!  I actually just got a new sewing machine I want to play with, but couldn't think of a good project.  This is perfect, thanks!

great idea!I may use this for some of mine..thanks!!!

ok..so at the thrift store i find this little purse that is shaped and woven like a ittle picnic baskets.I am sucker for the "hard box bags" sooo i snatched it up,NOW,,the person that redid the "LID"(it flips open to get INTO the purse)....decopaged(I GUESS some realy cute llil pics on there) HOWVEVER i wanna change the  art work on it,The lid does NOT unscrew,,,,so all i have to do is juct cover the bottom part when I paint,,etc....SO SHOULD I JUST SRPAY PAINT or brush paint OVER the lid?I cannot see scraping it......just think of it as a flat ovall piece of wood....then can i decopage,,sticker, whatver?I was thinking about making my usial trippy, hippie style,,,any ideas or suggestions?...i also wanted to make the inside of the flap where i could write on it,,,,,am i out of lucj if i dont wanna go with chalkboard paint?any dry/erase paint?I have another idea,,but i will post that later,
