This is THE best post I have ever seen.  Beautiful and brilliant!  Thanks for sharing.
2  UNITED STATES / Illinois / Fabric Stores on: August 31, 2009 07:50:54 PM
Hi folks-

I've been in Chicago for about over a year now and I have yet to find any great places for fabric here.  Would anyone like to share their fabric haven secrets with me?  All I have found so far are chains like Hancock and Joanns. There has got to be something better than that.  I am willing drive up to 1 hour out of the city to find something good.  Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

Fan-freakin-tastic.  My man would LOVE that shirt.  I'll have to learn to embroider now.  Thanks for sharing!

That's really awesome.  I had never heard of fused plastic bags until now.  I've got to go look it up!

Really cute stuff.  And the real question is where can you NOT wear stuff like this?

I had to modify the dress a little.  I'll add that info to my post later.  Thanks for reminding me.

TO get produce boxes, just go to your local grocer, walk into the back and start asking.  They often break them down and throw them away.  They often appreciate not having to break them down.

One suggestion though... if you have only one light source your plants are going to stretch towards it and may become spindly. It might be worthwhile to invest in a ten dollar plant light that will cover the whole aquarium. Grin

Hi March.  I've been looking into better lighting, but I can't seem to figure out quite what I need.  WHere do I find these $10 plant lights you speak of?  Currently, I am using one lamp that came with the tank and it's florescent bulb on one side and a clamp light with a lowlight CLF on the other.  I had two of those tank lights, but one of them crapped out after a few days.  The bulb still works, just need a lamp for it.

Incredible.  Great find.  Even better revamp.
