i know there are lots of different types of spindles, but I don't really know anything about that...

when we went to napier for the day, i came across a really cool bead shop...and of course bought some beads. heres what i've made with some of them

they are all glass beads, and the green ones are actually more pretty than that, bad photo Tongue but i couldn't be bothered to take another one...Smiley

lol I wasn't sure where to post this at first, I didn't think to look under winter holidays...seeing as its summer in NZ. (though it still seems to be cold)

anyways I made this for an afternoon tea my mum had to do the food for, as the centrepiece..., mum made the base of the tree and we put it together, then I made the shapes and stuck them on... was fun Tongue. oh and its made out of gingerbread. and there are a couple of maltesers stuck on too...

I thought Id post some pics today..hehe


This is my 3rd amigurumi ever (third crochet thing ever..only learnt crochet to make amigurumi..dont have pics of my first 2 ami and I didnt really like them anyway.) , following a pattern from a japanese site. after this though i kinda stopped using other peoples patterns, and freeforming when making them.



unfinished pandastill has no face cos I cant get the expression right




I really really loved the birdie that sharmelon(LJ) madeso I made one too



 another birdie, body shape kinda modified, but you cant tell much in that pic.



I saw a cute kokeshiand thought it might look nice as an ami Smiley though i can't get the photo to look right, its cuter in real life. lol
