I created a scrapbook from photos and ticket stubs taken at Wynonna Judd concerts I attended. I also created a frame from photos taken when I met her and made a Wynonna doll in honor of the concerts and meeting her. If one thing needs to be chosen to be entered instead of all of these, then I would like to enter the scrapbook.
It says cherish the moment. Can't really read it in the pic.
ticket stub in the top corner of the page. Couldn't see it to well in the pic of the whole page.
It says memories in that bottom left and has some things about what happened written on the tag on the bottom right.
Ticket stub is in the top left corner, just not too clear in the pic. and says lovely day on the top left.
It says "Only passions, great passions can elevate the soul to great things." on the top right. the tag says "One Sweet Day" and there are pink butterflies going up the right side above the tag. Wynonna doll and frame. The top right corner of the frame has the meet and greet pass that says "Wynonna's guest" on it and the bottom left has what she said to me and what happened.
I got some yarn from someone off of another message board and deleted the post. Now I can't remember who it was who gave me the yarn. I'm using the yarn to make a hat for my nephew and ran out of yarn. I don't know what yarn it is. I'm wondering if anyone here knows what type of yarn this is or any kind similar. It is really soft yarn that is light blue/gray:
This was pretty easy to make. I had to make some adjustments to it from the original pattern to get it the right size though. And, i had to make the piece on front with the buttons from my own pattern because the instructions weren't given for that. But, I think it turned out pretty well.
I made some of these framed photo collages as Christmas presents and the recipients really seemed to like them. So, I thought that maybe I could begin selling custom ones. Basically it would be whatever the person purchasing this would want. It has photos and they can have quotes, poems, or whatever words they would like to add. I could write a poem for whatever occasion it is or just for a specific person to go with it. It is kinda done like a scrapbook page with embellishments, glitter, rhinestones, ribbons, bows...you name it. It can have a plain colored background or one with designs like scrapbook paper is. Just basically whatever the person wants. I have posted pictures of two of the ones I made for Christmas and the one I made that's hanging on my wall in other threads here. But, I will post the pictures in this thread so you can see what I'm talking about.
I need some advice on this as I've never done this before. I seem to have lots of questions about this. Do you think this is a good idea and it would be successful? What price should I put on these? (I would have to go and purchase the embellishments for each one as it would be whatever they wanted...also, I'd have to figure the cost of supplies and ink to print the pictures, poems, etc.) How do I spread the word about this without it being considered spamming other then word of mouth? (I don't have any money to spend on promotion, so I'd have to find ways to do it myself for free if that's possible) Any ideas/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Here's a purse I made. I was a little off on one of the letters and tried to make it look alright by adding the heart, but I think it made it look a bit worse. Other then that I think it turned out pretty good. I prefer the side with the flowers...that's the side I use as the front most of the time.
These are two of the Christmas presents I made this year. One is for my mom and the other is for a friend. I made the one for my mom with a picture of her and her best friend. I wrote two poems about friends to put on my mom's and another poem for a friend on hers. I'm also making another one for my mom that has a poem I wrote her, an alphabet scrapbook for my niece, and an organizer box for my step-dad. I just have to put some finishing touches on them and they'll be done. I'll post the pics here when I finish them.
