I was looking through my tons of paper ephemera and found this 1969 booklet. If anyone wants the patterns-pm me. That 2 piece bathing suit looks groovy!! And I love the Bonnie and Clyde Look suit.

I added some more  pics that were in the pattern booklet. Oh-if you want the pattern, be sure to pm a snailmail address.
I wore a dress exactly like the orange crocheted one, but in purple, to my ninth grade dance Cool

I had been saving most of the pieces for awhile

13  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Frida Kalho found junk art doll on: November 14, 2007 07:45:17 PM
I really enjoyed making a doll for the art toy challenge and it seems to be an addiction now. Here is Frida Kalho-I donated  her to an auction at an art show I was in recently and she caused a bidding war!!!

These were the only pics I got-sorry a little blurred. She's made of old soda can aluminum, a wooden block, plastic skeleton pieces, loteria piece, fabric, spray paint, altoid tin, silk flowers and paper. I have several more started Smiley

14  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Cool Bibs for cool Kids on: November 08, 2007 09:36:45 PM
I had several pieces of cool fabric that I couldn't use for large projects, so I made some bibs. I used dollar dish towels from Target for the inner side-very soft and absorbent.

15  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Edna St Vincent Millay Collage/Painting on: November 08, 2007 07:50:37 PM

16  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Dutch Treat-another painted/decoupaged end table!IMG HVY on: October 28, 2007 03:25:41 PM
So this is the sister to my last painted end table http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=199438.0
Instead of Gypsy this one is Dutch. I used some old pages from a great children's book called Children of Other Lands (the bindings had fallen apart. Then I glued a little dutch shoe ship to the shelf.

18  HOME SWEET HOME / Exterior Decorating / Yard Art / Gardening: Completed Projects / Traditional scarecrow with untraditional blue pumpkins New PICS on: October 24, 2007 06:07:27 PM
I know this isn't too outrageous, but every year since I was a little girl (that;s a long time Wink ) I've made a scarecrow out of old clothes for Halloween. This year he's sitting on my funkrustico log throne
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=200284.0 and my pumpkins are blue-well bluish green. They're called Australian blue pumpkins and they grew like crazy this year-none of my orange ones did Roll Eyes
19  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Other Image Reproduction Techniques: Completed Projects / Kinda Frida/Pre-Raphaelite Rubber Stamps on: October 24, 2007 05:42:36 PM
I wanted to see how stamps would look cut "backwards" that is-the penciled edge cut negative. They look like little linocuts.
I tried for Frida Kalho, but my DH says it looks like a balinese dancer Frida!

Then this is inspired by Rossetti's Monna Vanna

I used Dick Blick artists block and a trusty exacto.
20  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Lonely little chair # 2 gets cynical on: October 23, 2007 09:15:16 AM

I posted a little chair that I found in the alley before
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=179007.0
and this is her twin. This one is a little more cynical as you can tell from the pictures, maybe not totally appropriate for a nursery Tongue

I've added several layers of polyurethane since I took these pics. I wanted to leave it "cool" looking, so I just used a cream paint and not a lot of trim. The text and pictures are all from an old school reader. I think Mom looks a little Marilyn Monroish!
