I was looking through my tons of paper ephemera and found this 1969 booklet. If anyone wants the patterns-pm me. That 2 piece bathing suit looks groovy!! And I love the Bonnie and Clyde Look suit.

I added some more  pics that were in the pattern booklet. Oh-if you want the pattern, be sure to pm a snailmail address.
I wore a dress exactly like the orange crocheted one, but in purple, to my ninth grade dance Cool

My good camera died today-so I have to post a not so good pic of the cool zebra card sissychrissy1 sent me. It has a shiny white dot background with an overlay of stripes and letters

14  Re: Traditional scarecrow with untraditional blue pumpkins in Exterior Decorating / Yard Art / Gardening: Completed Projects by balkandina on: November 16, 2007 08:02:58 PM
I just thought I'd show how beautiful these blue pumpkins looked as jack o lanterns-the inside orange glowed even when the candles weren't lit!!!I like them better than the orange now. And they have really sweet pulp for cooking.

15  Re: (Un)Favorite Things ATC Gallery in The Swap Gallery by balkandina on: November 16, 2007 01:17:29 PM
I received 2 super cards from parlophone today. Here's the first-my love of reading

It's a collage-much neater than my messy ones Tongue
And now close your eyes if you're offended by naughty words-my unfave is people swearing in public
The naughty word is a negativecut out from the top layer with the orange under layer showing. And I am extremely curious why all of these well dressed people appear to be sitting on rows of couches in the middle of the street???
I received wonderful cards from all my partners. And thanks for being a terrific and patient organizer, Tuesday. You're the tops!!!

Here are the terrific cards I received from CJSachiko-sorry they are late posting

I hate mice and rats and I love reading. Though I must say those rodents look rather harmless compared to the ones I see here Tongue

17  Frida Kalho found junk art doll in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by balkandina on: November 14, 2007 07:45:17 PM
I really enjoyed making a doll for the art toy challenge and it seems to be an addiction now. Here is Frida Kalho-I donated  her to an auction at an art show I was in recently and she caused a bidding war!!!

These were the only pics I got-sorry a little blurred. She's made of old soda can aluminum, a wooden block, plastic skeleton pieces, loteria piece, fabric, spray paint, altoid tin, silk flowers and paper. I have several more started Smiley

18  Cool Bibs for cool Kids in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by balkandina on: November 08, 2007 09:36:45 PM
I had several pieces of cool fabric that I couldn't use for large projects, so I made some bibs. I used dollar dish towels from Target for the inner side-very soft and absorbent.
