I sent!

Well, rather, my Mom sent it for me. I had work today and she didn't, so she was nice enough to send my package to Jonnamarco off

I just got everything finished and wrapped and realized I never took pictures!  :/

I wanted to get it all boxed up today too, but I need a bigger box than the one I have, so I'll be doing that tomorrow.

I'm so excited to start opening things. I've had my box for about a month, so it's been teasing me

Sorry I haven't posted! I've been sick the past few days, so I havent done much of anything, I did get caought up with my packages though and even opened tomorrow's a little early since I know I won't be able to post a picture and I don't want to get behind again. So back to the goodies...

Some gorgeous little glass charms and bobby pins from my wists (you guessed it, in my hair for tomorrow's Halloween party)! I havn't decided what I'll do with the charms yet, but it will be good! They are too pretty for keys and I don't knit regualrlly enough to use them as stitch markers, but I know I'll come up with something good. They are just too cool!

Oh my. I thought I was just taking my time, letting the ideas gel. And then BAM! I get a PM from Jonnamarco and the next thing I know, a package! Apparently my plan of focus-on-new-job-then-craft-afterwards isn't enough. Good thing this is a long weekend!

Have y'all gotten your partners questionares yet?  I've stalked my partner as best I can without one...but I want to get started hehehe

Nope not yet. I've stalked about as much as I can too. I think the delay probably has to do with the time difference and, ya know, life I'm sure we'll have them soon

I was just looking around online for things to add to my wists (halloweeny or not since they have been neglected for a while) and what do I see when I search 'halloween' on wists? I see the names of you guys! Haha! It feels good to not be the only one ridiculously excited! My husband doesn't get the excitement, but indulges me bc he knows crafting makes me happy.

I have some time this weekend to go craft shopping so I hope we get partners in enough time for me to get some ideas cooked up for shopping on Saturday! I know some of you guys already have ideas, and some have even started crafting, but I just can't get that far without knowing who my partner is. I think of swapping as crafting for someone and not for some reason If I was left to my own devices who knows what would get done! hehe

So has anyone else tried too beef up their wists and found things that maybe should have been included in the questionaire? Or am I the only nut job who practically puts my life story on those things? Haha! I just want to be helpful!

And on the subject of craft stores, I have Michaels and Joann's close, but no Hobby Lobby. I *think* I found an AC Moore though, I just need to drive by that area again to be sure.

I did it! I sent my info in!

A few days ago my Mom offered to "sponsor" me in a swap as a late birthday present and today I decided that this is the best one to join in on! I can't wait for partners and Halloweeny crafting!

So we went to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and it was AWESOME!!!

The lines were incredibly long, but it was grand opening... The butterbeer and pumpkin juice were fantastic and Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey is hands down the best ride in all of Universal Orlando. We didn't make it on any of the other rides or into the shops or the Three Broomsticks because it was so crowded, but we're season pass holders, so we didn't feel pressured to.

I hope you and your family make it there! I'm sure your son will love it!

I just stumbled on your post while looking for some Harry Potter inspiration for a shirt I want to make for the grand opening of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter this friday at Universal and I must say that I am really surprised that no one has responded to your post before me.

This is BY FAR the most AMAZING Quidditch costume I have ever seen. Homemade or otherwise. You should be very proud of it! He looks adorable and very happy in his costume. I can only hope my future kids like Harry Potter as much as I do so someday I can make them Quidditch robes too.
