So we're planning a picnic on the fly for friday afternoon. Besides fried chicken I have no idea what one brings to a picnic but I know the other girl is planning something creative because she asked if I was allergic to pineapples or pistachios so ... SOS HELP! I need picnic food ideas! Preferably something that can be made on the cheap.

this is what I'm having problems with

Row 2: *Skip ch3 space, DC to first Ch1 space, work (DC, Ch1, DC) in Ch1 space, repeat
from * three more times, DC to end, Ch3, turn.

maybe I'm just tired but that makes no sense. What do they mean skip the DC in the first CH1 space. What? What chain one space? I'm working on the second row doesn't that mean I'm done with the chain? Can someone please simplify it for me.

So I got these awesome plastic dinosaurs for a dollar and I'd really like to make them into charms, but I'm not entirely sure how to get the hole in them.

I tried doing a search but there doesn't seem to be any info or I'm wording it wonky or something. I feel so stupid for asking this. I'm assuming I need a drill? Or am I missing something totally obvious.

So for the craft my theme swap I wanted to break outside of my borders. While roaming the aisles at Micheals I saw the set ups for a clock. It looks pretty simple and I thought it would be fun. Here's what I came up with.
