Okay I must say, the pattern is perfect.
His eyes are stitched on since he is being given to my little hatchling (3 1/2 months old  -  see my profile pic for better description)

Here he is..

Here are his mugshots... wanted for cuteness

Here is how he spends his days

Here is the big shot of everything.  (well the hook case escaped the pic I will try to get one later)

Here are the teacups and saucers she sent and the red work Tea cloths she made. They are absolutely beautiful.

133  Insanity and Amigurumi in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by dragonslair on: January 13, 2007 09:58:28 PM
I have just embarked on a tiny project.  After finishing the Tiny Teddy from the Lion Brand Yarns online pattern library an idea hit me.  Now imagine this Tiny Teddy is 4 1/2 inches tall when done on a size G hook with standard yarn.  I have decided to crochet him again this time with size 10 crochet cotton and a size 4 hook.  His body is exactly 1 inch tall.  Have I lost all sanity or are there others who attempt insane projects like this one?

This is my project compared to a nickel and then again to a 1 inch piece of white tape.

134  Re: Dungeons & Dragons RPG Swap ( Signups CLOSED ) (SEND OUT Jan 5 ) in The Swap Gallery by dragonslair on: January 09, 2007 09:13:59 PM
I don't have pics of kd's bag but I do have pics of my gamers bag.  I will note the differences, I forgot to take pics before sending.  I'm glad you liked the package kd.  Strangely enough I have just been given The Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting for 2.0, too bad we play 3.5.

This is how the bag looks from the front

front to back the bag is 6 inches deep
the pattern was designed to hold my other half's leather bound collection plus a notebook and 3 other additional books

This is the strap, the one on kd's bag is 3 inches wide.... the one shown is 4 inches wide

The pencil case was made using a pattern for a crochet hook rolled type holder only I designed this one to fold tri-fold with 3 pencils on each side and a lager pocket in the center with ribbon ties.  In the one shown my other half asked me to stitch it to the side panel of the bag, but it is the same size and same fabric.  I have had several people ask if I would sell them one of these bags.

kd's bag is black canvas with dragon print lining it, on one side of the strap, and on the side of the flap.  The interior of the flap is pink.  The pencil case is dragons with a pink pocket.  (She said she likes pink)
All seams are enclosed, so there are no exposed edges.  Sorry I just hate leaving edges exposed. So the bag is technically for all accounts completely reversible.

The journal is pink with character sheets printed out and chopped into pieces and decoupaged to the cover.
