91  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Sexiest sweater pattern? on: March 07, 2006 07:07:25 AM
I never bothered to learn how to knit (something I am regretting now, after seeing this post), because I never thought you could make anything as beautiful as those sweaters with knitting!

Usually when I think "knitted sweater" I think of scratchy, ugly things that you would never wear. But that last pink one was gorgeous; do you mean to say that you could actually knit something like that? Amazing.

I really want to learn, now.
Thanks for the inspiration.

Fantastic. I love the black stitching; small detail that makes a huge difference.

I also clicked on the link for your other shirt, and that one is spiffy as well. D-ring, zipper, patch on back.

What pattern did you use for the skeleton?

This is the perfect treatment for a white shirt covered with unwashable stains. I used to just tie-dye, but that gets old after awhile.

Aww, I saw this a few weeks ago and I wanted to come back to it, but the pictures no longer come up!
Could you perhaps post them again? Or send them to me? If it's not too much trouble, of course... (:

A Jordy bag is a square-bottomed lined bag, made popular by crafster member thejordy, who made an easy-to-follow tutorial.

It looks sweet... but what is a jordy bag? I've never heard of it before. Thanks

It looks very cozy; I like it a lot. I especially like all the "personal" things in it that make it unique--i.e. your rasterbations, the DIY items, and the touches like the loft, furry sofa, etc.

Very inspiring!

Absolutely brilliant
I can't believe you painted it freehand though; the letters are so even and neat!
