11  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: Witch Crone Dolls on: September 27, 2009 06:49:18 AM
These bring back memories from the Halloweens of my childhood. Your witches are absolutely lovely--the pale faces, black eyes, and stylish clothes! I would pay for one.
12  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Re: Small-scale art on: September 27, 2009 06:48:13 AM
OMG. These are the most beautiful things I have seen in a long, long time. They're absolutely lovely. Have you ever seen Michel Ocelot's "Prince et Princess"? He uses fairy-tale like silhouette animations much like yours to tell stories... If you haven't, please check it out sometime! I love Ocelot SO much, and your paintings remind me of them. Ugh, I love your things so much. Ahghh. Sorry I'm not usually like this but they're so pretty and evoke all these emotions for me...
13  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / pink-haired worry doll on a white elephant on: August 30, 2009 10:49:01 AM

the doll is one inch, or three cm tall. poseable & can stand up alone. i made her from twisties and embroidery thread scraps.
the elephant was just made from left over felt & embroidery thread scraps, but it was just her size so i included him in the photoshoot.
thank you!

15  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: my first attempt at embroidery on: August 27, 2009 08:27:46 AM
Wow, thank you so much everyone for your encouragement & advice! Smiley I'm super excited now hehe
16  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / my first attempt at embroidery on: August 26, 2009 08:46:45 AM
I never had the slightest interest in embroidery of any sort before (craftster), but looking at the varied & beautiful projects on craftster inspired me to attempt it! it's riddled with mistakes, mostly because I am a lefty and so the directions for stem stitch & outline stitch got me mixed up, heh.

The intials are my mum's; she loves anything I make so I decided to give it to her in spite of all the mistakes.

All the embroidering got me into a sewy mood so I made this:

thank you!
17  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / collages & a painting & a dollhouse (warning: lots of photos) on: August 26, 2009 08:36:54 AM
thanks for looking! (I should have written this at the bottom, but for some reason the scroll bar won't let me scroll)

18  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Completed Projects / Re: the blue light bedroom on: August 22, 2009 06:11:14 AM
Absolutely gorgeous. This is the sort of room I always imagined having when I was all growned up and wealthy (hah); I can't believe you made all this. It's seriously beautiful, and looks so comfortable too!
19  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Weddings and Bridal Showers / Re: My handmade veils (warning: image heavy!) on: August 23, 2007 08:40:07 AM
All of the veils are very beautiful, but I particularly like the birdcage veils. I'd love to know how to make them--but isn't too much trouble to PM each and every person? I'd be so grateful if you could post instructions (no matter how short) on this board. Smiley
20  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Big Ol' Shirt ----> Swank Little Dress on: July 24, 2007 08:56:40 PM
That is the most adorable dress I have seen all summer. And, as everyone else has said, it looks amazing on you (I love that yellow!).
