hey has anyone heard of the cookie brand, ben's cookies

they are english but i'm not sure if they have them anywhere else, well i had cokkery at school today and i tried to make some like bens cookies milk chocolate ones, they are really moist and half cooked with big fat melted chocolate chunks, does anyone know a recipe for these type of cookies?

ok here is a tutorial for beaded cuffs similar to ones buy cockatiel in her post- 7 new projects.

so just make a curved shape with wire add your beads on and make loops at both ends.
make about 10 of these(more or less depending on your preferences)

Then you want to place each one on top of each other and join them together.
Ok i can't work out how to show you this with pictures but all you need to do is

1. place them on top of each other.

2. you need to join them up at three separate points. so starting at the topmost coil wrap wire in and out of each coil working your way down to the bottom.

3. then work the wire back up again.

4. then do that again twice more at separate points of the bracelet.

5. if the bracelet seems a bit unstable you mihgt want to add more connecting bits in.

6. the finished product.


i hope the links to the pics work. i hope this isnt too confusing. please comment and tell me if  its a good tutorial.

 

hi thanks for all the ideas on last weeks challenge. i especially love the tape measure bag and the using erasers as beads. if anyone has any ideas for items to put in the challenge of the week then send me a message.
this weeks items are

old keys- that dont fit any locks.
and mini boucy balls. you know the ones that are either coloured or are clear with the stuff in marbles inside them.

i saw this idea on an earlier post and someone will post an item under the title of Challenge of the week.
it will be a really random object and everone has to try and think of ideas of what to do with it.
I will start with

hi i was just wondering how you make a design of something exploding. On a post about embelished totes,  kaleidoscope_eyes  said how they had made a bag with a design of an exploding dog on it. and i've seen exploding mickey mouse designs.
how would you draw it out and applique it onto a bag?

Hi i was just thinking of some different items and materials you could use as bag handles:

feather boas
old belt
braided ribbon
braided material, maybe matching the bag body.
chain-coloured maybe
old seat belts-pick them up from a flea market or junk store.
hosepipe
old ties
guitar straps
rope-braided maybe
silk scarves
plastic tubing.

with the plastic tubing you could fill it with lots of different things for an alternative look.you could fill it with:
glitter
beads
sweets like skittles, smarties, m+m's..etc
or you could string things throught the tubing, like:
chain
ribbon

sorry i did go on a bit, my mind got carried away.
