4  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Selling Crafts on Etsy.com / Re: promoting etsy site on craigslist on: October 10, 2006 11:41:18 AM
I list my website every couple of weeks on craigslist and have many hits.  The stats for my site tell me where people are coming from and I have had quite a few people look at my website from the link in craigslist.  I have not had any purchases from it yet but its worth taking the time to post the free ad if people are really looking at it.

7  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Tips for Participating in Craft Fairs / Re: How to display Book Thongs!!! on: September 28, 2006 10:22:30 AM
I think a branch would be very fun to display them on.  Just make sure you do have a "demonstration" book open to show people what they are.

9  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Get Product and Website Opinions / Re: opinion on products please on: September 26, 2006 12:09:08 PM
Sounds cute and unique.  I don't have crocs or anything like it though... so I wonder how large your target market is.  If you already have the supplies ordered I would give it a shot.  It wouldn't hurt.
10  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Tips for Participating in Craft Fairs / Re: List of 'must haves' for shows on: September 21, 2006 08:20:50 AM
Thanks for your list.  I didn't even think of paper towel but that is a great idea because you never know.  Also in my just in case list is duck tape and tarps.
