31  Entrelac Scarf in SWS in Knitting: Completed Projects by tragicheroine on: January 09, 2007 01:58:45 PM
This scarf was really fun to knit, and I'm in love with the results. I got many ooos and ahhhs while I was knitting it too Cheesy

I used the pattern Danica from Knitty and 3 balls of sws by patons, in the colourway natural earth.

in bathroom light

I have some WIP and pre blocking pics here if you're interested!

Thanks for looking

32  Amelia Earhart Aviator cap by Head Huggers in Knitting: Completed Projects by tragicheroine on: January 08, 2007 10:26:02 AM
I decided to knit this after seeing a few beautiful examples by other Craftsters. I used Lion Brand Microspun and size 4 needles (the gague the pattern calls for makes the hat WAY too big)

This pattern was a really fun way to learn short rows in something other than socks.

I have about half a ball to go then I'm done. I like the puffiness of entrelac, but I think I'll end up blocking it all out so i can get more length Sad

Ouch! You kept your eyes open? It's beautiful though.

I have one too, but I wasn't quite as daring

I just made a red riding hood costume and I used this pattern for the cloak, it turned out great.
