i have a black wool pea coat that i just LOVE but...the sleeves are now too short...any ideas how i can revamp my fave coat and still remain fashion 4ward and avoid stress?

ok...i was in Target and came across these absolutely GORGEOUS minis...they were athletic-type mini skirts ( you know the type that are REALLY popular now) well i fell in love by they were over priced ( in my opinion) so i thought i'd try my hand @ making some of the different versions...well there was only ONE problem...i  don't know how to do ruffles/multiple-teir ruffles...

alright, i've been stalking the crafster site for a while but now i have a question...i have a FAVE pair of jeans and i dont want to cut, sew or do anything to change the way they fit...but now they are full of frays, pin holes, ect. along the inseam and the legs. ANY ideas on how to cover them and still be cute, trendy, sassy...wuteva? *sniffle sniffle* i just love them so much and dont want to lose them...lol
