1  Re: Random swap round 3 gallery in The Swap Gallery by koreancracker on: October 14, 2011 05:40:16 PM
here is my lovelies from hgdmm!

magnet rocks, my daughter loves them!

glass octopus, i need to put this where the sun can hit it

mushroom bag! daughter already claimed, stuffed with action figures

my favorite, world of warcraft horde symbol. need to put this one high up away from tiny prying fingers.

a clock, two pieces came off while shipped but no fear, easily glued back together.

all together now

i lost my camera's power cord so i had to resort to crappy cellphone pics! she also made a beautiful chain mail and green beaded necklace, i couldn't get a good shot with my cell. i love it all, thanks so much hgdmm!

2  i knit scarves! (img intense!) in Knitting: Completed Projects by koreancracker on: August 20, 2007 10:02:09 PM
the first one is tragicheroine's anthropologie scarf. i first attempted this right when i learned and i kept messing up the k2p2 rib. i had to start over like 6 times until i gave up. i tried it again later and realized that while i was doing k2p2 for the first row, i wasn't switching to p2k2 for the second row. i was still doing k2p2!  Roll Eyes

i used 2 balls of yarn bee icelandic jewels in peridot with size 10.5 needles. i used the clover pom pom makers and man, i can't believe i ever tried to make them by hand.

this one is my own pattern, a drop stitch scarf using two balls of patons sws in natural earth. took only two days to finish!

i like to call this one the grimace scarf! two balls of moda dea curious, made for a friends birthday.

this is also my own pattern, a drop stitch scarf knit lengthwise. i didn't bind off loosely at all and ended up with a corkscrew scarf. oops! used two balls of yarn bee aurora in deep water.

aaand lastly i finished danica using patons sws in natural blue. this one took a lot longer and my gauge really stinks. i still haven't blocked it!

here is my package from inleh_rah! i love it all, especially the totebag (which already has a wip in it). the koi fish is simply awesome and the DPN holder is rad!

i love the handspun - purple and green are one of my favorite combinations.
(not shown, knit washcloth, two sets of DPNS and two elann peruvian highland wool in black and 2 in purple)

thanks so much for everything!!

A Fugu pincushion

they arrived! i also liked how they packaged the stuff. the bag was nearly indestructable.

i also recently ordered this book. the reviews say this one is excellent for beginning amigurumi. also after s&h it only came out to $6.98!

sweet blankets everyone! i also started a little while ago.

i used baby bee's dreamy baby chenille in boo pink, licorice and baby blue. i'm going to give it to my 5 mo. daughter. i seriously don't know what i'm thinking giving a baby a non-machine washable item, either!
