While the holidays are still about a month and a half away, the christmas gear is out and about already. And so is my holiday crafting mind. So this is a topic for anyone who's already started planning for the stressful season!
I've started making a list (and checking it twice) of gifts for people. I think I'm going to make the little stuffies from the latest Knit.1 for people I know but don't want to spend lots of time or origionality on. I've already started on a pair of Baudelaire socks for my mom, and I'm wondering how to stelthily get my grandparent's foot measurements....

I'm looking to make a hoodie with a big zipper. A huge zipper. As in a zipper with teeth about an inch wide. If anyone knows anywhere, online or in toronto that sells this please help! I know that these exist, I've seen them in clothing, mostly alternative clothing (goth stuff mostly) but I can't find the actual zippers by themselves. I've asked in most of the fabric stores on Queen street, and none of them have anything nearly wide enough.
