11  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: Baby dresden plate quilt--my first quilt! on: January 18, 2012 06:54:06 PM
That's gorgeous and congrats on sneaking in unexpected favorites.  It looks beautiful and I'm sure the parents are very pleased. Smiley

12  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: Scrabble Quilt on: January 15, 2012 08:59:10 AM
This is very cool.  I made my fiancee a tetris quilt, with the pieces, but I think I may have to make a scrabble quilt for our wedding.  I like it!
13  COOKING / Dessert / Re: Roller Derby Gingerbread Banked Track! on: January 12, 2012 02:23:33 PM
That is awesome!  Although I am not in roller derby, one of my friends skates and her husband refs, so I had to share the pictures with them.  I admire your follow through.
14  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Re: Junk in the Flamingo Trunk - tutorial included! [picture heavy] on: January 10, 2012 06:01:45 PM
This is awesome!  I collect flamingos, so I was excited to see them on the front page.

I am making this panda bread for my future sister in law.  She's nuts about pandas and since she lives in California, it was safer to make it for Christmas instead of in June for her birthday.

I am also making jam, lots of jam, for various relatives and have already made those cinnamon sugar almonds for Christmas boxes already sent.
16  HOME SWEET HOME / Pet-Related Crafts: Completed Projects / Re: Visibility saddle pad on: December 05, 2011 08:09:24 PM
That's a really great idea.  I don't ride, so it didn't occur to me that horses needed visibility pads too, but it makes a lot of sense.
17  CLOTHING / Shoes: Completed Projects / Re: Tim Burton "Alice in Wonderland" Shoes on: December 05, 2011 07:34:11 PM
Those are adorable!  I really like how they came together and it was fun to see the tutorial.
18  CLOTHING / Shoes: Completed Projects / Re: Marie Antoinette Shoes on: December 05, 2011 07:32:31 PM
These are fantastic!  I kind of want to find/make a similar pair for my wedding.
19  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: My Baby's Coming Home Buttercup Bag and Wallet on: November 18, 2011 09:12:57 PM
That's very fun!  I really like the combo of the inside and outside fabric.   I'm also excited for you and your fiancee!  Please tell him thank you for his service.
20  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Re: Food Gifts - What are You Going to Gift? on: November 18, 2011 08:33:29 PM
Momof2!:  A great bark recipe I found last year was a white chocolate bark with dried cranberries and pistachios.  Just melt, mix, pour, and harden.  It was so fantastic!

I'm planning on making a white chocolate orange fudge and hot chocolate on a stick for gifts, along with my normal family recipes, and some other things, I'm sure.
