1  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Pink Lady? Frenchie always was my favorite... on: September 24, 2006 02:18:10 PM
I've decided that this Halloween, I want to be Frenchie from Grease. My only problem is that I can't find any decent pictures of her or screenshots from the movie anywhere! You'd think that for as popular a movie as it (still) is, you could find at least one decent fansite. :/

I was wondering if any of you had any ideas/suggestions for my costume, or had an idea of where I could find some good pictures for a reference.

Thanks a buuunch. :}
2  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / The father of all duct tape wallets! [IMG CRAZY] on: June 14, 2006 06:10:04 PM
Since Father's Day is quickly approaching, I decided that there was no better gift for my dad than a new, fully personalized duct tape wallet. He completely wore out the last one I made him, so I figured this time I would make it bigger, better, and more reinforced. And considering that he's got a job that takes up a lot of his time (and requires a lot of moving around - hence it being more reinforced this time around), he needed something practical and sturdy. This wallet completely fits the description.

I'm quite proud of myself, and I'm sure he's going to love it. :}

[Sorry if some of the pictures are awful. My camera has a mind of its own.]

The wallet closed. Just plain and black, but that's how he likes his wallets.

Closeup of key pocket His job requires him to have this tiny key with him at all times, so I figured I'd give him a nifty place near the middle of the wallet to keep it.

3  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Clandestine Duct Tape Purse on: January 30, 2006 07:17:26 AM
This is the result of a huge love for Clandestine Industries and a huge love for duct tape.

The entire thing is made of duct tape except for a Velcro closure on the front flap. The bottom corner looks a little weird because before I took the picture it was accidently sat on. Haha. But overall, I'm pretty proud of it. Smiley

4  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / Some of my first projects [Semi-pic heavy] on: January 30, 2006 07:10:48 AM
I've actually been stenciling for a while now, but I've only been a member of Craftster for about a day (long time lurker), so I figured I'd post a few of my first stenciling projects.

My beloved deerboy shirt. This was my second stencil ever, and I'm really proud of it.

This is a shirt I made for one of my best friends, who is positively obsessed with Andy from Fall Out Boy. Sure, the Homeboy shirts are a wee bit overdone, but she wears this shirt more than any other shirt she owns, so I'd say it was worth it. =) (There are a few wet spots in this picture, as the paint was still drying from the bridges.)

Thiss'un was for my dad, who is a Star Trek fanatic.

Close-up of front.

Close-up of back.

One of the aforementioned deerboy shirts made for my brother-in-law's little sister.

Aaaaand that's all I have saved on my computer right now. I'll upload some more pictures later of other things I've done. Hope you guys like 'em. =)
