1  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: Pink Lady? Frenchie always was my favorite... on: August 04, 2007 08:15:49 PM
It's funny, because I ended up going as a generic fifties waitress last year instead of Frenchy because of a lack of time, and I was thinking of trying the costume again!

I'm not sure which hairstyle I'd like. Both are great! Thanks. :]
2  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: Resin pendants pirates and roses on: June 24, 2007 05:29:50 PM
So cute! I love both of them. :]

Great job! :]
3  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: I Love Jesus Swap Gallery on: June 23, 2007 08:14:46 PM
Sorry it took so long to post! I received my package a while ago, as knittinfiasco said, and I absolutely LOVE everything!

Here's a picture of it all. Sorry in advance for the blurriness of these pictures; I blame my mom's camera. Everything looks so much better in person! :]

One of my favorite things in the package - the Hawk Nelson shirt! My favorite color is green, and Hawk Nelson are my favorite Christian band. It helps that about 98% of what I wear is band t-shirts, so you can bet that I'll get a lot of use out of this. :]

This is a close-up of the quiet time journal. I write a lot, so this is a really thoughtful idea. The next picture is a close-up of the inside, which contains my favorite verse ("Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young; but set an example for believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith, and in purity." - 1 Timothy 4:12)

A cute, colorful trinket box which is, as knittinfiasco said, a greatsize for my guitar pick collection! The inside of the box bears the translation of the Greek on the top (Jesus Christ: Son of God, Savior). Along the sides, it reads "Don't store up treasures here on earth, where moths eat and rust corrodes, and thieves break in and steal. Store up your treasures in Heaven, where moths, rust, and thieves, can't get them, FOR WHEREVER YOUR TREASURE IS, THERE YOUR HEART IS, ALSO."

A keyring with a Fall Out Boy (my favorite secular band) and World Neighbors (www.wn.org) pendant. Again, the blurriness makes the picture a little difficult to see, but you can guess how cool it is. :]

My absolute favorite thing in the package is this GORGEOUS crocheted hat, just like one on my Wists, with "I (heart) Jesus" on the side. The real hat's trim is a much deeper shade of red than it shows in the pictures (or on my monitor, at least). When I saw this, I immediately put it on and wore it around the house for the rest of the day. :]

Here's a really neat knitted cross bookmark, which will absolutely come to good use, because I read all the time.

And last but not least - an action shot!

Thanks again, knittinfiasco, for your thoughtfulness. I really loved everything, and I enjoyed swapping with you![/URL]

Hahahaha! I saw Harry and the Potters and Draco and the Malfoys at a HP Convention last year in Los Vegas! They were great!!!!!!!

ahh *is jealous*
personally i like the whomping willows. especially their (his?) song 'draco & harry' hahaha

Ahhh! I just saw Harry and the Potters a few days ago! It was absolutely AMAZING. :]
I'm definitely planning on seeing them again soon. Haha.

And, as a plus, it helped with inspiration for the swap, too. ;]
5  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood swap? on: June 05, 2007 04:09:13 PM
Mr Rogers' Neighborhood was my favorite show when I was little. My sister thought I watched it just to spite her (she hated it - I know, I have no idea how), but I genuinely loved it. I'd love to participate in a swap involving him! :]
6  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse swap? on: June 05, 2007 04:00:50 PM
I would absolutely be up for a Twilight swap! My friend got me hooked on the series, and it's currently one of my all-time favorites. I doubt that'll change anytime soon. x]
7  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Countdown to July Harry Potter Swap sign ups CLOSED!!, send out 7-1 on: June 04, 2007 07:16:35 PM
Everything's fine here! My partner is correct, and the swap is listed as "In Progress" on my profile. :]

I'm so excited to get started. Now that I've got the information, I can finally put all this brainstorming to good use. x]
8  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Countdown to July Harry Potter Swap sign ups 5-28 to 6-4, send out 7-1 on: June 03, 2007 09:04:00 PM
subdefective, I totally adore your icon. They cast Luna perfectly, in my opinion.

And it's a good thing. If they would have screwed up one of my total favorite characters, I would have been mad. x]

And eeep! I'm SO excited to be getting partners. I've been brainstorming all week! Grin

I'm still in brainstorming mode. I've got several ideas I really like for the medium and large items, and I'm still thinking of the small one(s).

Guess I work backwards. x]
