This one is Romney wool plyed with silver thread.

this one is plyed half with burgandy and half with a pumpkin colored thread.

I used a different set of colors but was trying for this:

And here's what I came up with:

the detail on the bottom

the sleeve detail

the major fair aisle part of the sweater.

4  Knitty's Center Square in Knitting: Completed Projects by almostabrickwall on: December 11, 2006 01:22:55 PM
I decided to knit this up for a family gift exchange.
I like how it turned out, I used Black and Purple rather than the whole red pink idea.

5  Tribbles in Knitting: Completed Projects by almostabrickwall on: May 19, 2006 11:34:57 PM
I decided to knit Tribbles for my Science Fiction English Prof.
He's a big fan of the original star trek, i gave them to him and told him:
"do not feed, and keep away from klingons"
he laughed so hard his face turned red.

You've got to admit they are cute.
Even if they were hell to make (eyelash with 3mm needles=a reason to drink).

I made mine a bit shorter than most of the ones i've seen on here, but it's still hot.
