3  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Discussion and Questions / Quartzsite, Arizona bead/gem/rock show on: February 03, 2006 11:31:53 AM
has anyone been to this? it happens every year for the whole month of january. people set up their rv's and campers in the desert (between phoenix and LA) and sell beads, findings, rocks, etc for super super cheap. it's a beautiful setting, the people are fun, and it's definitely worth the trip. rock and bead people come from all over the world for it and everyone just camps out for the month. it's very laid back and you can spend your non-shopping time tooling around the desert. i just went for the first time this year and came back with amazing beads (glass and stones) and sterling stuff.
