1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / ULGY Sweater Seat+fun fur= Miss. Santa on: December 16, 2004 08:09:12 AM
I posted a bit ago about needin a Santa Set.  With many hours of fur cutting, machine sewing, and GASP, hand sewing..I made a Miss.Santa for me, and a Sleepy Santa for my bf.  He has a set of polyester PJ from the 70's and I have an 80's sweater/skirt set (yes I cut out the shoulder pads).

Before:

After:

Around the bottom hem of the sweater, and the sleeves and the hats, were machine sewed.  The necklines were too fussy and think to machine so I hand sewed them on.  His neck piece is a vintage fake ladies collar, it was super thick, but nice,in that I did not have to hem,or measure of cut.

2  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Deco Swap Question on: December 01, 2004 06:39:51 AM
So, I am really wanting to get something like this going.  I was a FB maniac back in the day.

Let me throw out the steps as I understand them.

1.  I start a swap sign up, everyone picks a theme.
2.  I send out PM's assigning everyone to start a theme book.
3.  I send out a list of who to send to when the page is done.
4.  Person A decorates and sends to B, who should have already decorated and sent to C, who should have already decorated and sent to D, who already sent to E, and A recieves E, decorates and sends to B...Is that correct??

Or, am I supposed to have everyone buy/make their own book, to then send on for decorating in their theme??
