1  Re: Questions About Hairstyles! in Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions by whitecalx on: January 08, 2010 09:09:21 PM
I'm really waiting until the last minute on this.. I have an appointment to get my hair cut tomorrow and I want something way different.

I'm definitely plus sized, and my hair is very very thick and coarse but healthy. I want something much shorter than what I have now.. I'm thinking just above the shoulders. Oh, and as low maintenance as possible.

Any ideas? better yet.. any pictures of suggestions? I need something to take to my stylist :p I would GREATLY appreciate any input  Grin

Here are before and after pictures I took last time I got a hair cut.. just to give an idea on face shape etc.

I've got similar circumstances and the key really is to go to a talented person and ask them what they suggest.

I got my perfect cut a while ago and am going back in next week to get it done again

Bob with micro layers so all I had to do was dry it straight or use a flatiron and it looked like it curled under.  Longer in front than back.  And some nice manic panic purple stripes Smiley

2  Leather Tags in What the heck can I do with THIS? by whitecalx on: September 30, 2009 09:50:42 AM
I've got these and I'd like something fun to do with these.  Either an adult or kid craft would be great!

TIA

My own pattern on both.  The orangey one is for night and its huge!  It works so well though.

If you are looking for you own pattern I recommend woolywonder.com or littleturtleknits.c om

ww has a online soaker class starting right now too.

5  Easter outfit for toddler - need advice in Clothing for Kids: Discussion and Questions by whitecalx on: March 12, 2006 07:45:59 PM
I got this shirt for dd for Easter and want to make a skirt to go with it.  I have fabric to go with it that matches the colors perfectly.  I was thinking of a short A-line with a ruffle.  Not sure if this fabric is too much though.  The other idea I have is to make a denim skirt with a ruffle of the fabric.

What do you think?
