1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / glass in rock tumbler on: March 11, 2006 08:42:40 PM
hello all   Cheesy

I am wanting to make my own glass beads.
I was thinking of putting "mosaic" glass chunks in the rock tumbler to get them smooth and bead like then drill holes in them

does any one know if this would work?
do i need to use the "grit" as you would do with rocks?

Or is this just a bad idea
