1  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Roger Jr Plushie! :3 on: December 22, 2009 11:15:28 AM
Finally!! he is done, after weeks of working on other plushies and trying to figure out gloves and pouch and all sorts of other crazyness that comes with a kangaroo lol

He is made out of minky which is soooooo nice and soft but my machine didnt really like it. Sooooo with that being said, this little guy is COMPLETLY HAND SEWN. @_@
You can imagine the irritation everytime something went slightly wrong. Sad

it was fun putting his little boxing gloves on Smiley
OH and get this, the little guy in the pouch .. he is in fact a finger puppet!! Smiley
hmm i wish i took better pictures of the little guy. but i was in a rush to the post office, had to make sure he go there just in time for christmas!

anyways. Enjoy!

In case anyones interested I got the pattern for this awesome gift from http://www.funkyfriendsfactory.com
Smiley

it doesnt come with a pouch or the pattern of the little guy, that i figured out on my own ^__^ .. so I altered the pattern a bit.

Been playing around with different patterns and different wants to make him. lol Im planning of putting some glow in the dark paint where i have the lime green fabric but im scared the paint might make it hard Sad so im on the hunt for glow in the dark fabric! how sweet would that be, im sure they make that right? .. anyone have any suggestions? much appreciated.

Made out of grey and lime green fleece! So he is extra soft!
Im thinking of making the ears a bit longer and more floppy :3 ... whats another good plushie making fabric? i've made made plushes out of microsuede and ive heard some people mention minky fabric. Anyone make plushes with minky? there was another fabric that was also mentioned alot but it escapes me at the moment >_<

its Ryu and Sagat!

my Bf loved the sagat one!! he laughs at how cute he came out Smiley

So i decided im going to work on the whole gang (Or at least most of them) hehe :3
I thought it itd be easier to post everything on one post no? instead of makin a new one every week or so @_@
 Here is Sakura! :3

:3 Just have to add her shoe laces and her red undershirt Smiley
ive been playing with different ways to make them and fabric. its been pretty fun .. ive come to the conclusion that painting the face on fleece is NOT fun -___-;

4  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / MJ Tote Bag on: November 07, 2009 08:02:26 AM
Hey everyone!

I bought this MJ tshirt that my friend designed and made it into a tote bag! I really loved the design, but dont like wearing t-shits since im thin and think they look weird on me haha plus i wanted to be able to wear it out and about. Turns out it came out to be a very roomy bag! and i loves it.
I just ordered a black shirt so i can have a black tote to use, the white gets dirty pretty fast haha

Thats the front and the back of the bag. The design had black and red so i decided to make the straps match. The back has My friend rickys logo, (erj) who made the design and Danny  (Case) who printed the shirt. The words Micheal Jackson is the base of the bag so you cant really see it when its flat.

This is the original shirt

5  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Uncle Sam Mini Vest on: November 07, 2009 07:22:08 AM
Hey everyone! Its been a while since I last posted here, like a year or so @_@
anyways I wanted to share one of projects i did last month for my friends uncle sam costume for school:)

My friend went out and bought a wonderwoman costume. This one.

She spent like $50 i think @_@ .. i told her she shoulda told me and i could just bought the fabric, woulda been much cheaper, i think.
She just wanted me to use the starry fabric to make her a vest to wear. So i made one of those mini vests. Here she is wearing it at her halloween party

Here she is with lady liberty! (I alwasy thought lady liberty was the statue of liberty, no? lol)

She had a neat corset like top, my friend said she found her costume online, i was surprised to see how well they ended up matching. Which was a good thing. Smiley

What do you guys think?! Smiley
