1  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Book-lovers Swap~SIGN-UPS CLOSED~ SENDOUTS 10/18/08) on: October 12, 2008 07:40:08 PM
Thank heavens for an extension!  Smiley

I have both my large and small done but was 3/4 of the way done with my medium when the Craft Gods decided to be tricksters and I had to scrap the whole idea and start from scratch...but HA, I've outsmarted them (for the moment).

The _____ I had intended on using for my _______ completely crumpled when I tried to apply it, so instead I took _________ to use it instead.  (Think of this as crafty mad libs!)

So to my partner, Kim, I should be sending by mid week!  Smiley

Just checking in...I'm done reading "American Gods" and have moved on to "The Time Traveler's Wife".  I'm also done with my small, 75% done with my medium and have all the stuff I need for my large.  Smiley

Mr Croup and Mr Vandemar are my favourite characters in Neverwhere. Them, or de Carabas. That's one of my favourite bits as well. Cheesy

Ahaha, I love this. Neil Gaiman is so awesome!! A friend sent me an ebook of American Gods, and I think I'm going to start reading it once I'm done with my current dorky read (Halo: The Flood, is anyone else a Halo fan? Anyone? ::looks around:Smiley.

I have some Halo books that my BF gave me because he thought I would enjoy them (he knows that I'll read anything I get my hands on...)  Smiley

Hmmm...I've used a few books for 'experiments' but have always felt bad about it afterwards.  It's funny, if the book has pictures, I really don't mind tearing it apart for the sake of the craft but if it only has words in it, then I feel bad.  Why??  I have no idea.

Oh and thank you to whoever started talking about "American Gods"...after I devoured "Howl's Moving Castle", I started reading Neil Gaiman and am now addicted to a whole new author.  Grin
