Very cute! Kind of looks like something that Wendy of Built by Wendy would design.
2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: High Waist Shorts (7 pics) on: September 11, 2009 12:11:16 PM
Great job with the shorts. I would love to try and make some but I'm kinda intimidated by them!!

And I can answer your question about low rise....It's because for a lot of short waisted or just short in general people it's much more comfy!! Between my ribs and my stupid hip bones, I only have 1 " so where in the world would all that rise go on me??? Also, mid rise is HORRIBLE because I also have my navel pierced and when the top of pants, shorts, skirts, etc hit right across it, IT REALLY HURTS!!!! Just my reasons why I hope they still have options for everyone out there. I think now it's nice because ALL rises are pretty much okay style-wise. I hope it stays that way!!!

Very cute dress and you and my daughter have the exact same stripes on your walls. I did it for her as a bday gift a few years ago. I tried to find a pic but don't have one at work. If I remember I will show you later! They are almost the same size!!

It's really cute. The pink bias tape just adds to the retro feel of it. If you want, once you get pockets perfected, You could always add some later but it's adorable.

We have a new restaurant near my house called Galaxy In (drive up, 50's style) created by the Rainforest Cafe guy. I'm going to try and find that fabric next time I'm at Hancock's and make a little skirt to wear when I go eat there ;o)

Awesome job on both dresses!!! I love the separated skirt on the little girl's dress. Did she get to keep it?? She looks like she's having fun in it! I hope you got an 'A'!!

7  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Story of the Ugly Fabric on: September 11, 2009 08:04:40 AM
Do you have any fabric left?? I can see it as a little bolero jacket....and I would wear it!

I really like the skirt, great job!

10  CLOTHING / Costumes: Completed Projects / Re: Kitten Miaow Circus Ringmaster on: July 01, 2009 02:07:46 PM
Oh wow, I'm in LOVE with this!!! You did an awesome job! I'm actually making a circus girl costume and now that I see yours, I wish I would have gone with softer colors but oh well! Anyway, I hope mine looks half as good as yours. I have a mini top hat with mine so we are definitely on the same wave of thinking. I've been obsessed with circus stuff for about 6 months now.

I definitely hit This Rocks!!!
