staysha,

Great job!  That is really pretty.  Love the color!

Would you mind sharing the pattern?  I would love to make this for my 4 month old daughter!

Hi!

I was searching for Circle Afghans myself and came across this one that seems pretty nice:   http://members.aol.com/_ht_a/lffunt/skipstone.htm

Can't wait to try it.

Good Luck!

I don't know about a poncho for a very young infant, but the hooded baby poncho on the Lion Brand website can be made for a 6 month old.  It's made of their discontinuted terryspun yarn, but I bet you could substitute for another that worked up in the same guage.  It doesn't look too tough, and I think it's very cute.

If the instructions for this one:
http://www.craftown.com/baby/pat4.htm
are still too large (they should be around 6mo), it could probably be modified to fit.

This one is lovely:

Thanks for those links Lothruin.  I love that one pattern on the Lion Brand website.  I know the exact yarn that they are talking about as well.  I saw it in a second hand/discontinued items store near my house.  hopefully they'll have by the time I leave work today.
Again thanks so much!

Have a great day!

Hi all!

I am due to have a baby girl in the middle of November and want to crochet a baby poncho.  I need an easy pattern as I am somewhat of a beginner.  I tend to crochet then stop for a few months then start again.
I found a few patterns online but I believe one of them had a mistake that I could not correct myself and the others I have found have been way too complicated/or not the right size.
I already crocheted a baby shawl with matching bonnet and booties.  But I am looking for something for her arms to go through.  AM I making sense?  Can anyone help?
Thanks ahead of time.  Take Care.

56  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: Tote-ness on: June 04, 2004 07:31:33 AM
Long time visitor, newbie member. Yee Haw!

Just thought I'd share a tote I made earlier this year that I've gotten some compliments on. My mom had a bunch of vintage calicos lying around, and I needed a big, non-bulky bag to carry my knitting in. So I decided to make a big ole tote with the stuff. And here it is for your viewing pleasure--the patchwork tote.

It's a bit hippy and old-lady, but I like it. It's got character.

I think I want a more colorful one to carry my piano music in. I mean, one can never have too many totes...right?

 Grin

Great Bag!  I LOVE IT!!!  It's so charming and hippyish and flower childish.
Do you have a tutorial?  I need one for my crochet supplies!

Take Care,

Sorry but I have to bump this up!

Does anyone know of a crochet pattern for this.  I started crocheting a few months ago and would love to make these for Christmas gifts and for myself, Of course!  Smiley

I've seen some awesome ideas on this site.  Very creative people here!  Keep up the great crafting!

Those drawing are so cute comfits!   Grin  I have a few birthday cards that my youngest sister made for me about 15 years ago, and I love them to death.  They look similar to your daughter's people!  I always wanted to get a tatoo of one of My sister's little people, I have a hard time deciding which one though.   Cheesy

By the way, I'm new to this board.  I just stumbled across it and I think it is awesome!   Smiley
