OK, I have noticed a few people starting up a "craftster blanket" with squares made from other people and sent to them.  Just a thought, but how about turning this into a swap??  I know I would like to start one but this might be a great starting place.

Please READ CAREFULLY! This is a  new style of swap, and it works differently than most.

The first person puts a list together of all the books that they can SEND, there must be atleast 3 books (WITH PICTURES IF POSSIBLE...or a link to a website that has the book maybe). YOU CAN HAVE AS MANY BOOKS/Magazines ON THERE, AS LONG AS THERE IS A MINIMUM OF THREE!

Then people will read your list, if they want a book/magazine, they will reply to the thread and say "i want Jenny to make me a Bust Magazine" or whatever they want off of their list. When they reply, they will also say "this is my first/second claim". They should then PM "jenny" and give them their address info.  IT'S REALLY IMPORTANT THAT YOU REPLY WITH YOUR STATUS (your number of claims) WHEN YOU CLAIM SOMEONE!

THEN COMES THE NEXT PART. YOU WILL NOW POST THE LIST OF BOOKS/MAGAZINES YOU CAN SEND. (Since I am requiring you to have a list when you sign up, make sure that you save it, you DONT have to have pictures as an example, but it would be nice. IF YOU HAVE PICTURES, PLEASE POST LINKS, NOT THE FULL PICTURE)

Then someone picks you to send a book/magazine to them.
Then they post their list, and so on.

Now if the thread gets in a rut for a few days/hours, the person who made the last list should add to their list if they can think of anything else, until someone decides they want you to send them something.

YOU HAVE ONE WEEKS TO GET YOUR ITEM OUT THE DOOR, I FIGURE SINCE WE DON'T REALLY HAVE TO DO ANY CRAFTING FOR THE SWAP 7 DAYS SHOULD BE ENOUGH TIME TO GET TO THE POST OFFICE, IF NOT LET ME KNOW.  Please be communicative if you are having any issues. THERE WILL BE FEEDBACK FOR THIS SWAP - Don't forget to get a DC NUMBER when shipping in your own country!

You can participate as many times as you want – but no person can "owe" more than 2 things at a time.

I had the same yarn I made my one-skein scarf with so I made a matching bag.  Now I will have to find a pin or something to go on it...


It's on a flat surface so it looks kinda funny

My sister's wedding is on Christmas Eve and I made the bouquet for it.  It also had lights in the bottom that you can't see and the pearl thingys are not as weird as they look in the picture.

these must be hot this year... everyone wants one!  kudos to the pattern designer!
