11  Christmas bouquet in Weddings and Bridal Showers by dabba on: February 27, 2006 08:34:37 PM
My sister's wedding is on Christmas Eve and I made the bouquet for it.  It also had lights in the bottom that you can't see and the pearl thingys are not as weird as they look in the picture.

14  happy happy orange in Projects from The Happy Hooker by Debbie Stoller by dabba on: February 23, 2006 09:39:09 PM
Amazing story with this one.  Well for me anyway!  I was at a flea market this weekend and got a box of yarn.  Huge box of yarn!!  Most of it was older than me.  I seriously didn't think JC Penny sold yarn, and for 50 cents!  Got home and went through all my patterns till I realized it was looking at me this whole time!!

I love this bag!

Pictured with the yarn I used (woolsworth and penny's)

15  my boy beanie (take 4) in Projects from The Happy Hooker by Debbie Stoller by dabba on: February 23, 2006 09:34:48 PM
Ok, I was working on the lil monkey hat and a few kids from the block were over and said that they wanted one.  Well as they were looking through the book they found the boy beanie... I guess it was a must have "IN EXACTLY THE SAME COLORS!!"  (I cheated and used red)
So I give you the beanie in camo times 4 (only 1 pictured)   Roll Eyes

16  sock monkey hat in Projects from The Happy Hooker by Debbie Stoller by dabba on: February 17, 2006 09:18:52 PM
Ok, this is the last one for awhile... maybe.  I hope to see everyone elses here soon!!  This is going to be a gift for my little sis who just found out that she and her husband are going to have a baby!

I had to do a lot of improv with this one, not a single yarn store had what was in the book so it's a little different.

Yep I'm addicted to scarves and handbags so this just added fuel to the fire.  Sorry for the bad pic.

18  Re: stitch-n-bitch crochet in Projects from The Happy Hooker by Debbie Stoller by dabba on: February 15, 2006 08:09:24 PM
Humm... maybe the bookstore screwed up...  Awesome for me though.  Here is a preview of the scarf I was talking about Smiley

the one in the book was green and pink.  I really didn't like the color combo (and didn't have the yarn) so yippy for brown and cream!

sadly most of my shirts do look like that...

BUT, what stay at home mother doesn't have a fantasy or two??

Thanks for looking Smiley
