11  No cats were harmed in the making of this afghan **with tut** in Crochet: Completed Projects by veggiechef on: January 08, 2011 06:49:15 PM
This is a throw I made for charity. Each stripe is one skein of Red Heart. It has taken me several months to complete it, since my cat attacked it along the way, and I was so upset, I just threw it (the throw, not the cat)  into the closet without checking for damage.  When I released it from it's closety prison many months later, (again-the throw, not the cat) I found that there wasn't very much damage after all.  This surprised me, since it had been dragged across a very un-vaccuumed floor by a critter with very un-blunt fangs.  Anyway, here it is, with its feline offender as well:

12  Jamexitaly~Jamaica,Mexico, Italy! in Crochet: Completed Projects by veggiechef on: June 21, 2010 07:51:00 PM
This reminds me of a mixture of the flags of Jamaica, Mexico, and Italy, with a little bit of purple thrown in for good measure.  Made this in the winter...when we were buried under five hundred inches of snow.  Just used up my old scraps & stuff. The cat, well....he insists on taking part in every photo session.

14  A Flock of Flowers in Crochet: Completed Projects by veggiechef on: June 11, 2010 03:10:20 PM
My cat gave me the best Christmas present this year....an awesome book full of flower patterns.  ( I know, I know...you're wondering why I let my cat have the keys to the car so he could go down to the bookstore, but it's ok, I didn't let him go by himself.)  Thanks for looking!

16  Kitties in a row in Crochet: Completed Projects by veggiechef on: May 08, 2007 06:41:24 PM
OK Folks, this is my first posted project....A small throw.  Got a digital camera for Christmas and it has taken me this long to figure the $%*%@ thing out.

Here's the close-up of the stitches:

And here's the inspiration for the color scheme:(Ain't he a handsome devil!)

BTW I found the pattern through Crochetville.  Thanks to the wonderful person who posted it there, wherever you are!
