to "the bon",
I'm so glad that you were able to use the scrapbooks!  The stamping came out great and I love the little ant stamp (kudos to kaesea for what appears to be an EXCELLENT stamp job!).    I was going to use one of the books for a guest book as well, but changed my mind in the end.  The invitations looks gorgeous and the button/magnets are fab!  I love the whole concept and wedding color scheme and I wish you the best of luck!  Also, I have to ask...where did you find that Eames inspired stamp???  I LOVE it!!!

I agree with the great idea of adding the key latch!  It makes things "oh so handy" when you're holding a baby and fumbling for your keys!
The bag came out great and you can never have enough pockets!  Great job! Grin

mickim88- that Kapp'n box is awesome!!!

seconded!
That is a sweet sweet kapp'n package right there!
Excellent work!

thanks!  It was my first attempt at making a book...and a box!  My husband liked the Kapp'n box so, much that I made him a box to put all of his Nintendo/Mario trinkets in.

BTW-I'm also really impressed that you can print up your own fabric design...I never knew such a thing existed and now I'll feel like a true Able Sister as I design my own fabric!

hi again...dorkyoube is having some camera troubles so, I offered to post up the pictures of what I sent to her.
She mentioned that one of her favorite characters is Kapp'n (which is also one of my favorites), so, I went to town on a Kapp'n theme...

I made a book which has all of Kapp'n's sea shanties, songs and quotes in it...

and some animal crossing buttons....

and then a box to put everything in...

and lastly I added some flower stickers and a Kapp'n card that I found from my Animal Crossing gamecube days.

oops!  it seems I had some problems with my quote listed above....serves me right that I didn't preview my post before sending it!   Grin

But, I just wanted to say that SewPixie and Fabric did a great job on those clay figures!
They all came out great and they've inspired me to attempt making some for myself!

Hi all...I received my great package from dorkyoube the other day,
First I got some adorable AC magnets, which are already put to use!
(I apologize for the poor image quality, I had a tough time trying to get a pic without too much glare.)

Then I received a much needed item...an cozy for my DS!!!  I just LOVE the fabric pattern and the knitted cherry applique (cherries are my native town fruit).  I was hoping that I would get a cozy since I needed one badly, and glad that dorkyoube can read minds since I didn't tell her that I needed one!  Grin

Finally, I received the most creative gift...a felt board with a re-arrangeable Blanca face!

I've been having alot of fun creating new daily looks for Blanca.
Thanks again, dorkyoube for all of the great crafty items and to SewPixie for organizing such a great swap!!!   Cheesy

once I learn how to knit, I'll have to remember how you made the cozy...I'm sure my husband will LOVE the idea of me knitting a cozy for his gamecube!  Thanks for the explanation on how you made it.

Hello...I'm still here!
I sent my package out to dorkyoube today, and I hope she likes it!
I was a bit apprehensive to send out after seeing all of the wonderful items that Ewushka made...this was my first swap and I opted to make 3 small items.  I'm glad that Ewushka mentioned that she couldn't decide on one large gift to send, otherwise her and my definition of "3 small or 1 large item" are waaaaaay off!   Cheesy

that game cube cozy is just about the cutest thing ever!!
Ewushka, did you use ping pong balls for the eyes?

I need to learn how to knit, there are just waaaaaay too many cute things that you can make with some yarn!
