51  Crocheted Beer Cozies in Crochet: Completed Projects by Laamissa on: January 13, 2005 06:53:45 PM
There is a thread for beer cozies over in knitting so I decided to start one here for crochet....

Beer Bottle Cozies

Beer Can Cozies

All are made from 100% cotton yarn (so they are machine washable) and accented with some fun fur flair
They feel reallly good in your hand and make beer so much more fun to drink  Wink

What do ya think?      ~M

Made a new hat for my favorite Pug dog Oliver:

I added a flower pin to it for Patches:

(She actually seems to enjoy her hat...she ended up wearing it for most of the day)

Enjoy!      ~M

56  Tennis balls rescue hardwood floor... in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by Laamissa on: October 17, 2004 10:53:56 AM
My BF and I moved into an apartment with nice wooden floors.  We realized very quickly that the chair legs and floor didnt get along very well (scratches and marks)  My BF actually came up with this...

All you have to do is pierce an X into one side of a tennis ball with a knife and shove it on the chair leg.
Very low cost and I think it looks kinda funky...we get a lot of reactions from them from visitors.
The balls actually make it easier to move the chairs around too, and they are quiter (bonus to the neighbors downstairs)

Lip balm pocket (my fav)

Close up of the Fuzz

I printed out the tutorial for this bag in Oct of 2003 (when there was like 4 or 5 pgs of posts)...Now one year later there are 34 pgs!!!  So cool how we have gotten to see this pattern morph into so many different bags!            ~M

59  A Cat in A Hat... in Crochet: Completed Projects by Laamissa on: July 31, 2004 06:55:50 PM
Sometimes it is just so fun to torture kitty...

I made this litte "party hat" for my Grandmother's cat Bootsie, the hat has a tie on each side that goes around her head and is tied in a bow under her chin.  The pom pom is quite ridiculous!
She was actually a good sport about it too.....although from the picture she looks mighty pissed!
She walked around my family's party wearing the hat as everyone laughed at her.  I think it was the hit of the party.

60  Felted Carrot in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by Laamissa on: July 28, 2004 05:35:14 PM
1 felted and 1 regular:

The pattern is from this site
Midnight knitter has an awesome website!  So thank You midnight knitter if your on craftster!!!!!

these are both done in 100% wool, this was my first felting experiment.....I wanted to make these as x-mas ornaments by threading a string through the top after felting.
Sooo fun to make at about an hour a piece too!!!

so do you like the felted or non felted version???
