That's a beautiful little sweater.  I've not done sweaters yet (except for a vneck vest I made my brother 20some years ago).  I think it looks great.

I found a site of a lady who made this (http://backcountryknits.wordpress.com/2008/06/25/fo-phildar-leaf-pullover/), and down the page she says:

"...(the original pattern is written in French and when you order the book, you get both the French and English translation). "

Do like I do and put it on the Microsoft Works Calendar on your computer.  I set mine to notify me a day to a week ahead of time...put everything I need to remember on there and it pops up the reminder the way you set it.

I don't understand Knitty...they reject beautiful things like your top and put some of the ugliest things on their site...I think your top is gorgeous.  Thank you for sharing it.  ~Tricia

30  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Musty smelling yarn. on: May 21, 2008 01:30:57 PM
I layered skeins of yarn between charcoal briquets in a closed up box for 2 days to remove smells from yarn I got and it took it all out and didn't even dirty the yarn.  You could try it and see if that works for you.
