1  Banana with real fake eyelashes!! Behold! in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by four eyed girl on: April 09, 2008 02:22:00 PM
So, I've been wanting to make a very large plush banana for some time.  However, I discovered that I didn't have nearly as much yellow fleece as I thought.  I made a small banana instead.  It's still larger than your average banana, but not as large as I intended.  I was a bit lax on some of the stitching so my mom gets this lovely lady.  You know, because she loves me regardless of my stitching.  Hee.   Roll Eyes

Her eyes and mouth are felt, and are stuffed.  I used some fake eyelashes I had hanging around to beautify her.  I just stitched them to the very edge of the eyelid fleece, flipped them over and stitched the entire eyelid onto ol' Lolita Nana (that's her name).

She's looking for a tall, dark and handsome man who likes llamas, the electric slide and Gary Cooper movies.

2  Pretty, pretty strawberry necklace (oh my goodness, the pics are huge) in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by four eyed girl on: March 14, 2008 07:42:17 PM
I haven't posted a project in a very, very long time.  I do believe it's time!!  I bought some lovely vintage lucite cabs on etsy and wanted to make something cute.  I am so over winter, so I wanted to make something with some color.  Hooray!!!

3  oh baby! in Crochet: Completed Projects by four eyed girl on: November 01, 2006 06:39:38 PM
My darling former roommate and bestest friend is having a baby in January.  It's her and her husband's first and she's a tad nervous.  I live in Virginia and she lives in Indiana, so we don't see each other nearly enough.  Since I won't be able to attend her baby shower and I love her dearly, I am making her plenty of goodies!  Here is a teeny tiny hat to keep him (they are having a boy) warm in the cold Indiana winter!

The goods:

And for size reference:

I hope you like it!

4  my first foray into felty, pillowy goodness! in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by four eyed girl on: September 11, 2006 04:29:11 PM
I've been teaching myself to sew with my mom's old machine.  I am super proud of this pillow.  It's the first sewing project I have actually COMPLETED.  finallllyyyy.  On with the show...

The felty flower I handstitched with a jaunty little vintage button for the center:

A nice stripe:

The whole shebang:

The fabric up close...the background is actually white, and the design is black.  My camera just really loves that yellowish color:

*Bows*  Feedback is welcome!

5  i heart the color redddddddd = my first post! in Beads: Completed Projects by four eyed girl on: March 26, 2006 09:23:40 PM
My first post!  The wires on these earrings look a tad bit strange, but I love the red beads.  They look slightly distorted because they are hanging on a usb cord!  Still working on perfecting things!
