1  Re: Cocktail Swap Gallery in The Swap Gallery by babiestarlite13 on: November 05, 2009 07:09:30 PM
I got my package from blupaisan today!!!! I was so excited to open it I was almost late for work.  Prepare to be jealous!

Left to right:  A "useful" gag gift- Full of BEADS!!!, a cocktail nightlight, drinking game, a card that says "dont worry darling, you didnt burn the beer" LOL, fairy coasters that i LOVE (are they sealed, can they get wet?!), on the fairy coaster on the right is a pair of martini earrings that I will be wearing soon to work (bartender), and two christmas ornaments

A wall hanging that will be going in my kitchen with a recipe for cold avacado tequila soup

And close ups of the watercolor cards for the matching drinking game!!!

Thank you so much!!!  What a great swap!  Grin

And some close ups!   My goodness,  I have two pairs of black and white sequin earrings that are almost identical to those earrrings except they are hanging from chain to dangle!  They couldn't be more perfect!   Thank you so much!~

I got my package from Disposableactor yesterday!!!   Grin  On to the goodies!

The "dawn" set, with some of my favorites on the envelope.  And let me tell ya, I don't usually like paper beads, because well...... they look like paper beads, but the ones she sent are beautiful!

The "twilight" set.  look at the skull bead!

All sorted and ready to be used....

And my extras.  Hemp, buttons, pin backing, wire, earring rings, and enough sterling kidney wire for 30 pairs of earrings!

Thanks so much Disposableactor!  What a great package!!!!

I made one of these wallets recently, and it didn't turn out as well as I would have liked.  But someone asked me if I could make one for her, so I tried again.  This one turned out much better!  Hope you like it.

(and I learned how to make it here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=237259.0)

8  Baby room for DD! in Interior Decorating: Completed Projects by babiestarlite13 on: March 20, 2009 03:31:23 PM
I had a baby on February 28th!  She is amazing and motherhood is all it's cracked up to be, and we had so much fun decorating her room!  Grin
We didn't want to overdo it on the pink like so many people do, so we decided to break it up some instead of doing the whole room pink.  Im not one for long winded introductions, so onto the photos!

Her closet.

Dresser area

Changing table/nursing area (got the changing table for freeeeeee!!!!)

Close up of border

Her crib (she wont be using it until we get a bumper pad set)  Her name on the wall!  Smiley  O!!  and the crib was only $50!!!

The rug (we chose this rug because we are going to do pink/white gingham curtains and bumper set)

And I know you're all dying to see these! (maybe I'm just dying to show you!)

Baby Kierstan complete with the full head of hair that caused 9 months of heartburn

And the silly hat pix.  (daddy loves that hat!)

And I would like to say that we spent very little on the walls decorating.  We spent about 25 on paint, and then 15 dollars total for all of the wall decorations.  I got wall stickers and the border from the dollar tree!   Grin  And just fyi, when the paste on the border sucks, cuz it will.... mod podge is your best friend!

Also, the crib picture is the truest to color, my camera sucks apparently.

Comments and criticism appreciated  Grin
