I would be interestd in joining the swap if bigger dolls were allowed in (like 18 inch American Girl type dolls). I have just got an American Girl doll and she needs to be spoiled Summer time would be good for me, if that is when people are wanting to do it.
I am wondering if EGL/Elegant Gothic Lolita style includes any knitwear, and if so, what sort? I am doing a swap of a doll outfit on another board, and the doll's style is meant to be EGL. As knitting/crochet are my better skills, I was wondering if there were any knit things I could make to fit-- so I have turned to all you keen Craftsters for help.
I don't think the outfit needs to be strict in style (as I am aware there are lots of rules surrounding this fashion) but any help would be much appreciated!
You should definitely visit Duttons for Buttons! They have more buttons than you could ever imagine. They have shops in York and Ilkley as well. I believe they were the company that supplied the buttons for the Pirates of the Carribean films...
It is now about half lion brand yarns, half others. They changed from exclusively lion brand a few issues ago. They have also made it full magazine sized now, when it was smaller before (I liked it in the smaller size).
I participated in the last round of this swap and it is terrific. Kish is a great organiser and is very good at explaining things and answering all questions.
